CO2 Laser (Ablative)
CO2 Laser (Ablative) is considered the ‘gold standard’ for skin rejuvenation and treating acne scarring. Reduce the appearance of sun damage, pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles and surface scarring on areas such as your hands, face neck and décolletage.

This advanced treatment rejuvenates the skin, by delivering tiny pillars of laser energy into the skin, avoiding the need to remove the entire surface of the skin.
This treatment vaporises imperfections in the surface layers of the skin and accelerates cellular turnover. It also stimulates the production of new collagen, improving strength and elasticity in the skin.
The collagen production and skin tightening continues after the treatment so that you continue to the see the results over the following 6 months.
HOW CO2 LASER (Ablative) WORKS
The procedure takes around 2 hours (including consult and topical analgesic) and is generally well tolerated. A numbing cream is used to help numb the area.
Your skin will feel like you have bad sunburn for up to 2 hours after the treatment and for 2-4 days, your skin will appear red. There may also be slight crusting on the skin.
While makeup can be used, it’s best to factor in some downtime from work and social activities.
By around day 5, as your skin starts to shed, you will notice soft, smooth, clear skin underneath, with optimal results taking 3-6 months to reach full potential.
SUITABLE FOR
CO2 Fractional Laser treatments are suitable for almost everyone and all skin-types, however special care is required for those who tan frequently or have darker skin.
